But all is not a wash...

As is the yearly tradition I (and the Durham family) watched the Christmas ships. A full fleet of 35 ships, quite a spectacular site! Even with the heavy winds the ships came through in flying (sailing) colors.

I'm never so content and at peace as when I'm on the Ursa Major. They treat me like family and make me feel welcome. These days it's one of the few places that makes me feel as though I belong and have a place in this world. (i've been alone for far too long)

None the less, the Christmas ships were spectacular! Sadly, I missed Viva's shin-dig. I'm sure I'll hear about it later today but oh well. The tradition and family gathering is more important.
