Some might say these quotes are isolationist/nationalistic and racist but they are accurate and probably pinpoint how most Americans feel today. I agree with you Adam, in that the "mix" of American is good - great even but we're bending over backwards for people who aren't trying to be Americans. They trying to be Mexicans living in America.

UGH! It's been a busy day at work. The Portland Meadows Mile seemed to be a good race day. Though it wasn't all work, I kept busy.

Since my request for banana cake was rejected due to lack of acquisition, we didn't have cake today.

I did get to spend a little time with my brother talking about - whatever the fuck: politics, the education system, our genetics. It's good to talk to him.

Anyway, it's my 38th birthday. The birthday dinner consisted of 2 microwave burritos with cheese, 3 hot sausages and a couple of cans of Corona. Maybe if it wasn't Monday it'd be a night of killing some braincells and going to the titty-bars. But since it is Monday, I'll try to win (at auction) a convection microwave.
